Invoice Maker support
Create invoices and estimates, record payments you have received, and share PDF documents. Invoice Maker: Estimates & PDF is in release preparation; this page does not announce App Store availability. Optional AI is not yet enabled for public use.
Get help
Email dylan@pondir.com with your app version, iOS version, the action you took and any error message. Share private documents or backups only if you deliberately choose to. Never send subscription proofs, provider credentials or AI recovery keys by email.
Create and revise a document
Tap New Invoice or New Estimate. Tap a whole document, client or item row to edit it. Add your own prices and tax settings, review the preview, then issue and export the PDF. Sharing does not automatically mark a document delivered or paid. Issued versions keep their historical details and PDF; use Create Revision for changes.
Free allowance
Three newly issued invoices and three newly issued estimates are free per UTC calendar month. Draft editing, revisions, exporting old documents, client and item management, recording payments and backups remain usable without extra issuance slots. Archiving or voiding a document does not refund its slot. If you reach the allowance, close the upgrade screen to keep your draft.
Record payments
Record payments you already received to update the outstanding balance. Correct mistakes with a payment reversal. Payment records do not move money, charge clients or rewrite historical PDFs. The app does not provide payment processing, accounting or tax advice.
Protect and restore your library
Use Settings → Export Backup and keep the file privately. Backups contain business and client data and are not encrypted by the app. Import validates the backup and replaces the entire local library after confirmation; it does not merge records. Export your current library before importing or erasing it. Document backups do not transfer Pro or AI ownership.
If the app reports a library-opening or storage error, do not uninstall or replace the library before asking for recovery help. Existing data is preserved when the library cannot be opened. There is no document cloud sync to recover missing local records.
Pro subscriptions and restore
Pro offers monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Apple shows your localized price before purchase. Pro includes unlimited documents, additional PDF layouts, recurring drafts, owner reminders and reports. There is no lifetime unlock.
Use Restore Purchases while connected to the App Store and signed into the purchasing Apple Account. Manage or cancel through the app's subscription controls or Apple Account subscriptions. Cancelled subscriptions normally remain active until their verified expiry. Existing documents, historical exports and backups remain available after Pro expires. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
Recurring drafts and owner reminders
Pro recurrence creates drafts for your review. Enable owner reminders and allow iOS notifications if you want alerts. Open the app to refresh upcoming reminders; Focus, notification settings and subscription expiry can affect them. Recurrence never issues an invoice, charges a customer or sends a client message automatically.
Optional AI
When enabled, Pro includes 100 successful AI actions each UTC month for notes-to-document drafting, description polishing and client-message drafting. A valid generated result consumes an action even if you reject it. Provider or validation failures do not consume a successful action. Cancelling after execution may still consume one; retrying the saved request is different from starting a new generation. An action crossing a month boundary is counted in the month it started.
AI requires consent and an internet connection. All suggestions need review. Missing prices stay blank, and existing prices are not automatically changed. AI does not choose tax rates, calculate authoritative totals, invent work, issue documents or send messages. Secure restored-device AI access also requires ownership recovery, separate from your invoice backup. Protect that recovery key like a password. Manual work remains available if you decline AI or the service is unavailable.
